About
Procareer was founded in 2015 in Logroño, Spain. First as a Talent acquisition services company for international IT recruitment, followed in 2016 by recruitment for foreign companies in Spain.
In March 2019 the owner of Procareer, Frans van Sterkenburg co-founded Antare Software SL, a software company specialized in IT nearshoring with his co-founder as client with an ambitious project to build a Pan European banking platform based on PSD2 legislation. At the start of 2020 Frans left Antare Software SL and incorporated IT nearshoring to the services of Procareer.
Procareer facilitates software development teams, from the talent acquisition of the right people to IT nearshoring services in Spain.
Procareer composes and maintains software development teams in Spain for clients across Europe. By taking advantage of the availability of qualified software developers in capital and regional cities of Spain we offer the necessary capacity to our clients. Our ambition is to remove barriers between European countries and bring efficiency and added value throughout the full software development life cycle.
The name Procareer stands for driving high performance with the right IT specialists. Being Procareer we advocate continuous learning and teamwork. Our ambition is that our recruits recognize their time at our client as a fundamental step in their careers.

Back in the Netherlands Frans enjoyed being a consultant, business analyst, planning and analyses specialist with special attention to management information, finance operation processes, process improvements and innovation. Frans initiated and took part in IT projects and important changes to processes in systems. Next to defining and guarding functional requirements he worked closely together with the IT development and IT operation.
Frans moved to Spain in 2014 where he successfully specialized in the talent acquisition of qualified IT Professionals and managing a software company. At Procareer his focus is to facilitate the operation, giving utmost service to clients, candidates and colleagues based on transparent communication, a hands on and can do mentality.
